SEV 1.08 - Super-sized ships and SS not firing weapons |
So far the game has been running great, but there are three things that have been bothering me:
1 - From time to time my ships just super-size themselves to the size of an entire solar system. The only way to get rid of them is to save and reload.
2 - My heavily armed Space Stations get pwnt by small scout ships with 2 pea shooters... For some reason my Space Stations don't fire their weapons, no matter what I try.
3 - If I move a fleet through a wormhole, it plays the wormhole sound once for every ship in the fleet. It's not much of a problem when you have just 5 or so in a group, but with large groups the sound gets so loud it kills my speakers and my ears along with them.
Is there anything I can do about any of these, aside from wait for the next patch?
Ordinance available?
I haven't experienced either 1 or 3 yet (only played SE5 1.08).
Phoenix-D could be right about #2, but my question is: have you noticed if your station has any ordinance left? I just had problems with my fleets being attacked but never firing, and when I looked closer I saw that all their ordinance disappeared into the game somewhere.

1. Bug. Not sure what can be done.
2. Do you have Supply Storage on them? Bases require supply, unlike SEIV.
3. There's a tweak for that but I can't remember it offhand.
