Gritty Galaxy Mod; Fleet faceoff.

This is from a simulation of what would have happened, had SE5a attacked my defense fleet at the warppoint.
In the end, the battle never actually occurred, since some of his ships were still damaged from a previous engagement, and new patches came out.

Heavy lasers were quickly disabling the invading ships, although the heavy torpedo bombardment coming back dealt severe damage.

In the end, the defending ships were wiped out, but the surviving fighter squadrons took advantage of the enemy's insufficient point defenses to return the favour.
