Hi i was wondering if it would be possable to take for example Shield Generator and Make a new name like Shield Generator MK1 and only be used By me. I mean where the AI/Game cant use it only me.
Like this;
Shield Generator Mk1 - Me only
Shield Generator - AI/Game only
I also would like to Increase the amount of Ordnance Storage and Supply Storage where i can just Use 1 but have increased cap. Kinda think its strange why ya have to put like 10 or more on a ship,it just takes up too much space.
Also can the same thing be done with ships? I would like to make a copy of some ships but make those versions only used by me not the computer.

The Ordanance Vat has a storage level of 2000 as opposed to the 250 of the ordanance storage. There is also the solar collector that generates 50 supplies every turn for each star in the system you are in. The ordance vat (Organics tech level 5) and solar collector (tellar harvesting level 1) both take up 20 space.
It's quite easy to set up
It's quite easy to set up componants for human only with traits, just set up a trait and have a tech tree associated with it that has the componants you want to have on it.

Do by racial Trait?
I did something like this, not sure if only I can use it or not, Do computer players have their racial Traits traits hard coded? I think it was racial traits well the one with mining aptitude, organic knowledge and such... If not I guess you can make your own set ones and not use random ones.
I made a knowledge (like organic/crystaline) for myself and then put all new components / ships with must have that. Just look at organic knowledge/ organic technology as a reference to how. You can skip the tech completely and just put what it has for requirement for the ship/component requirement. That way you don't have to research one level of tech before getting your own ships/components. Also I cleared up old ships adding a requirement that makes it not show for me if I have said trait(see below).
