Space Empires V boldly takes the next step in the space strategy genre!
Montreal, Canada. October 17th, 2006. -- Software Publisher Strategy First Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSTR), is releasing patch version 1.08 today for “Space Empires V”, the newest addition to the Space Empires Series.
This patch will update the retail version of “Space Empires V” version 1.00 to version 1.08. See the history.txt file for a complete list of the changes and fixes included in the patch. This patch will not work on the Steam or Demo version of “Space Empires V”.

impressive first patch, if all follow as good as this, Se5 will be bugfree & balanced

The games still pretty
The games still pretty broke.I think MM should consider releasing beta patches the public could choose to download if they wanted.Stardock has that policy and it would help a great deal.
I don't want to wait another month before I can actually play the game properly with an official patch.

problem could be with steam - maybe the "rared" path files that could be extracted to steam folder
