Do you happen to know if when a computer controlled empire has it's turn and it includes combat, do you know if the combat is quickly calculated or is it played out the same way normal combats are?
If it is quickly calculated, then cool.
If it is played out, then the new setting in the settings.txt file is going to cause problems - whenever anyone uses it, if a AI has combat that turn it their turn is going to take 5 minutes longer.
Anyone know???

Combat during turn is Strategic
It's run in strategic mode but at higher speed.
