Save game error |
I am getting a save error. "unable to save game C:\program files\strategy First\Space Empires V\savegame\xxxx.gam. Anybody know why?
I have game version 1.74 BM 1.16 installed and running fine with no other problems. Game date 2424.5 This problem started before that but was able to continue for several turns by exiting the game and reloading it. Turns will continue past that date fine (have played to 2425.0) just unable to save.
I have had this problem for awhile now but don't know if its the game or bM or maybe my machine. It may be the oldest machine still on the board. P2 TNT2 running 98. 
The problem has re-occurred through several updates and is repeatable on my machine.

Thank you Captain Kwok I have sent the files. I suppose that means I may be able to revert to a previous save game file and continue the game. Now why didn't I think of that.

Err...this area is for After Action Reports (AAR)...could we please keep it that way... I know, I'm in danger of being called Grumpy, but it has to be said!

No big deal. I think a mod would have to move it if alot of people show interest.

You should e-mail the save game to - MM has the tools available to see why a save game has become corrupted.
