Ship movement & interface

Ship movement is still limited to the previous turns maximum. eg if you repair a ship with movement value [1] and it regains maximum movement value [14] next turn it still has only [1] movement available. Also if you remove a ships supplies and then replace them its movement is reduced to [1] and does not return to its original value.

I would also like to take the opportunity to mention the interface in a couple of places eg I would really like to have info on techs I am researching and currently just get an icon on mouseover and no info at all. Also would like an armor tally in ship design, during design process there is no tally for armor.

Just thought I would mention it in case people had forgotten Smiling

Very funny! Obviously a double post, I am afraid the slow server speed caught me out!

I suppose another bug worth mentioning is the lack of edit or delete function on the forum.Eye-wink

That forum has other bugs (I mean features Laughing out loud ) as well. I'm waiting for the next patch. Smiling

More movement bugs I noticed

when un mothballed movement is cut by half for one turn (the turn after the unmothball order)

a part repaired ship after a crew section upgrade has all engines completed and crew sections & compliment complete but missing some armor and missiles nevertheless has half maximimum movement for that turn, when armor and missiles repaired the max movement returns to normal

PS I did report these bugs a year ago btw with saves Sad

Since this thread is also about interface here are a couple more observations

could we get rid of the .gam extension in the save load interface ? when you want to save with an adjusted name eg progress 127a 127b etc you have to backspace x4 to change the name after clicking on the original, its just isnt necessary to see the extension

cargo display, 9 boxes per row? & which traditional numerical system does that adhere to? why not make it ten or something easy to count in multiples thereof? my nine times table is a little rusty

I've noticed unmothballed ships have no supply. If you got half movement then perhaps the ships weren't completely resupplied yet.
