Can Weapon Platforms be upgraded? |

I am talking about the 1.74 Stock version.
I want to upgrade/retrofit my Weapon Platforms on my planets. In the file "VehicleUnitTypes.txt" I found the following line in the WP section:
Unit Capability 6 Type := Can Be Retrofitted
So it should be possible, but how?

There's no interface support for retrofitting units, so you can't upgrade them.
