Access Violation: attempting to recover mines |
Load minelayer ship with mines, go somewhere and deploy some. Then try to recover the last mine and get a crash to desktop.

With the mine layer, go to the sector the mines are in. Then go to the cargo tab. You can recover the mines from space thru there. I've done it several time since mine maintenance is expensive. Can't just throw out mines everywhere anymore.

Don't do that
You aren't supposed to be able to recover mines, so a workaround is..not doing that.
Recover is a bit buggy at the moment, it seems.
