Simultaneous Warp Transit |
I'm trying to change simultaneous transit in the empire options window, I highlight the word false, and click on toggle setting. It changes to true, but it wont keep this "true" value, is there a save button I'm not seeing? or is this a value that's set in a data file somewhere?
I've also read elsewhere that drones automatcally have this set to true. Is this true?

Having 100 ships appear simultaneously? I think there's a good reason NOT to do that.

Ok shrike I've searched the threads, I found 2 that had anything to do with this topic! One (the first one I've seen) talked about drones and mentioned that the control for simultaneous transit is in fleet control, but then the same author mentions it's actually somewhere else... and the other thread is mine.
I've looked all through my fleet control and can't find it. I did find it in my empire options window.. but like I said it wont keep the "true" setting... So my question was is there a box during set up that I clicked on that wont allow simultanious warp transport?
Vince: there are places to use all kinds of strange stragies. I'm up against a race that is sitting on the warp points, I need all my fire power (or at least 80% of it) all at once, not a slow trickle.

I know there is a setting where you can change how quickly the ships transit. What if it was set to zero? Would that stuff everyone through at once?

When you create a fleet you can tell the various ships in what order to transit the warp point. You can tell them to do stuff like transit at same time as previous ship. They then appear at the same time in battle. However they have a chance 10-20% of ramming each other.

Man, I finally found it... it's a right click menu item... There is a place in empire options that flips to false once clicked on and you can't get it to stay on true again...
The real place to asign warp order by clicking on the fleet and then right clicking and combine each ship with the previous ship in order with in that fleet.
Randallw as far as I can tell there isn't any menu that pops up or any button that's available during fleet creation that would allow this. It's in the right click menu that pops up when you right click on the fleet.
In case anyone missed it. IT'S IN THE RIGHT CLICK MENU THAT POPS UP!
