Space Empires V General
Hi all,
I got a relatively new laptop(3 months ago) w/vista and Space empires 5 v 1.74 has some pretty annoying mouse lag when there is a lot of text on the screen? Is there any way to disable the software cursor and use the default hardware cursor...or some magical make my mouse pointer smooth option I'm missing?

... also there is a freeware utility which gives you a tray icon to toggle ClearType even more quickly. Useful if you jump in and out of SE5 a lot on Vista!

I got a new screen awhile ago. Eventually I realised I hadn't set SEV to use the new resolution. It had filled the whole screen but only at 1024*768, so i changed it to 1680*1050. Marvellous view, entire system showing with windows on the sides, however it did make the cursor a bit slow. Being used to the old view I changed it back. So you could try reducing the resolution perhaps to speed it up. I don't if it'll help.
