Looking for a good mod

BM 1.15 should be ready soon. Otherwise, most of the up to date mods have average AI's...

dont waste your time with AI's, play on pbw and have 10 times as much fun!
the diplomacy is more real cus, well, its real...
also should you be intersted there a new babylon 5 mod nearly available with only multiplayer supprot, no Ai at the moment.
shaping up to be one of the most interesting and fun mods around.

Of course SEV truly shines in multiplayer, but to have at least one mod with an AI that's not ompletely brain-dead would be nice!

Sometimes you can't afford the scale, commitment and time requirements of multiplayer... (though you still have 1vs1 for quick games)

hhmm ive always found 1v1 took longer... with many you tend to get a power block that quickly takes over all the rest or u get destroyed by a coalition.

With 1vs1 it's easier to accomodate time schedules, you often are able to play in real-time. If not, then you can play 2 turns each time.

I've once completed a 1vs1 game in 2-3 days.

yes true of course... and PBEM is a good way to go.
