I had an old game for my Atari called "The last star-fighter"...
Basic premise, you defend your home system, Ko-dan keep attacking, game
lasts forever...
Or, you can jump to his system, take out a few basses, and he cannot
build ships as fast... take out all his basses, and the game becomes a mop-up...
Same here...
You, and your race and allies are at war trying to take out the bad guys...
The more you damage his systems, the weaker he is, the more of your bases (planets
and such) you loose, the better off he is....
You will get missions to escort your ships for new colonies, or to take out his colonies...
Or you can free-lance it, and attack who you want and when...

Oh yea! I would love a Star Fury 2. I really enjoyed Star Fury and I think a Star Fury 2 would be awesome. Malfador, can you comment on this?

Or... an updated Star Fury.

Most of the fields in the files do not support formulas, the should.

i think that instead of SF 2, they should implement SF INSIDE either SEVI or SEV by making it so during tactical combat its possible to control a ship in the Starfury style. Duking it out in a sector instead of system obviously, with your bases and ships patrolling etc and seeking the enemy but giving you more options by docking and repairing if you have a space yard, manuevering, tactics etc. as well as increased immersion and longer battles. Could be an option during tactical combat (which right now is boring anyway since you cant even affect the outcome of the battle)

If there is an SF 2, it should be in full 3D and way better GFX etx and multi core.

StarFury introduced me into the SpaceEmpires Universe. I love the modding possibilities of the Malfador Products... and the ability to go out, buy my own spaceship, cruise the galaxy, Blast Pirates into oblivion, pick up scattered cargo and cash it in, Buy newer, bigger, greater... WEAPONS!

Can't buy that in real life... YET!

I would love to see a Star Fury 2, or an updated/expanded version of Star Fury 1.

I have the demo for the original Star Fury, and used to play it to death, simply because I could never find a place to buy the full game. (I hate credit cards, so limits ability to buy stuff online)

If there is a Star Fury 2 (or expanded/updated Star Fury 1), I hope it becomes available at places like GameStop, where I think I got my copy of SE V (the version that game with SE IV included, a worthy purchase).

Not sure if SF2 will happen. How popular was SF1? Don't see much talk about it.
