Need Help Please |
Ok so I download space empires from steam (the first time I have ever used steam to buy a game)against my better judgement as I like to have disc's and boxes for my games.
so heres my problem. game runs fine, however if i want to play it i have to launch it from steam, i see no way of making a backup on to a disc and to top it off i cant actualy find where steam has installed the damn game, so i cant edit any of the files.
Can any of you guys tell me how to find the data files and also how to make a backup, as i realy dont want to be downloading it every time i have to wipe windows.

I think these questions may be better answered if you post them on Steam's forums.
www.steampowered.com if I remember correctly - although I don't use it myself because I do a lot of offline gaming.

The (now official?) Space Empires 4 Mod Launcher V2.26
check properties under
check properties under steam, there is a choice there to make a local backup of the files.
However you cannot play the game without steam running.
You can also find the files themselves but it didn't work for me before when I tried to save my HL2 install.
