How can i view/edit the scripts? Is there a script editor available?

You can not view or edit the CSF files. However, in the game directory on your computer is a folder marked "Utiities".
Under that folder is one marked "ScriptParser".
The scripts you wish to modify are saved under the "SE5MainScripts" and SE5EmpireScripts". These are all text files and can be edited using notepad. Make your own sub-folder and copy the files into it. That way when you mess one up real good (ask me how I know this), you will have the original still available.
Make your changes, compile the scripts using the ScritpParser.exe file and save the compiled *.csf files in the empire folder for your empire. And you're done... for now.... Till the next great idea comes along.... again.
