Hi all,
If i want to make a supply ship(supplies and ordinance), do i use a freighter with lots of storage compartments or a regular ship with lots of ordinance and supply parts on it?

Note that only in the Balance Mod (and some other mods) will Ordnance and Supply components count towards the freighter hull's cargo requirements. In stock, this is not the case.

but you can manually load the ordnance and supplies at your cargo bays

Regular cargo bays cannot hold ordnance or supplies.

Only if you are playing Balance Mod... otherwise you can only use a regular ship hull for the purpose.
