Non-aggression element of treaties. |
This may have been covered elsewhere, but I can't find it.
What are the exact terms of the Non-aggression clause of your treaty elements. It seems that Allow colonization in each others system is the only one that is worth the effort.
I mean what are the parameters. I notice the non-aggression in nuetral space seems to prevent colonization in any shared systems. Does anyone know what all 3 mean exactly. The wording is not clear at all.

Re: Non-aggression element of treaties.
Neutral space only means that they'll attack your ships if you enter their systems. you can't colonize their systems.
all systems, prevents you from colonizing theirs
And um the other one has neither restriction.
Re: Non-aggression element of treaties.
Exactly.
You can send a fleet to their homeworld and they won't do squat.
But, the more stuff you have in their systems the more annoyed they get. The diplomatic consequences can actually convince them to declare war.

Which, unless you have the Evil Empire turned off, they will do anyway - generally with absolutely no warning. They'll go from "Brotherly" to "Really, really ticked off" in the span of one turn.
Re: Non-aggression element of treaties.
Well... under "normal" circumstances, it will take a dozen or more turns.

Re: Non-aggression element of treaties.
That's it, the two others prevent colonisation.
