SEV V1.74 with 1.14b - Multiplayer

Hey Guys

Trying to start a 2 player game over TCP/IP.
Everytime the empires have been loaded and I process the 1st game turn, SEV hangs at Generate 1st turn.

I have a current TCP/IP game going and I can still play and process games.

Has anyone else encountered this, or am I over looking something.

Any help would be great.

It is not just you - I have also had the same problem. I can get a multi-player game to function if I chose to manually move the game files. I have not tried the TCP/IP with the most recent patch (yet). I will advise if it works.

Caveat on that last: This is a low priority project for me - it may be a week or so until I get 'round to it.

Well I have got my game to work.
I think it could be due to 1 of the following, but I am only assuming:

I selected a small map and added a low amount of AI empires - all random.
I also choose to have 5 HW's.
I think that there might not have been enough planets to support all the empires....
cause I have now tried again and left all AI players off and the game has begun.

One thing that I did do in the 1st instance when the game wouldnt load, was i pre-generated a map, but did not select any starting points.

The game which started and we are currently playing i did not pre-generate the map....

I thought the player planets were added after the quadrant was generated?
