"Range check error" Please help! |

Okay, I JUST bought this game off of Steam and downloaded it. Now I get this Range Check Error when I try to start the game and a bunch of other error messages and it doesn't work. Somebody please help me get this fixed. I'm going to be pissed if it doesn't work and I don't get my money back.

Are you using a dual-core system? I hear that forcing one-core mode seems to help in such cases.
Startup range check errors are still in the "being worked on" stage. I saw a post somewhere (can't find it now) that basically said to send a report to MM with your system setup. I know it's exasperating not to have the game work, but look at the bright side -- by the time you do get it running, you'll also have a game that's free of a lot of other bugs we're having to suffer through for now.
