Combat replay broken? |
For the past several turns, the multiplayer simultaneous turn game I am running won't open the combat replays. There's a file, but it's not working.
We started with BM 1.13, now are running 1.71 + BM 1.14a.
Any ideas? I thought all of this was save-game compatible.

Has anyone else submitted a bug report on this? Kwok? Anyone? I'm surprised that there hasn't been more complaining about this problem.

Read loads of these and cant find a current one!

A player in my Multiplayer game is complaining of the same thing in the game forum but I haven't seen it myself yet.

I have the same problem sometimes... But it's working most of the time.

Does anyone know if there are any answers to this problem?
The file does get transferred and i can see it on the client PC. The 6MB file is in the same folder as the downloaded turn file.
1)Would it make a dif if I only use the filename and no Directory setup.
2)Could MM just release a 3rd party viewer?? Since he has all the coding, it could just be an app you drag and drop the file into and it plays in a window format.
Easy enough solution for the time being and they could then look into why it isnt always working. We would then at least be able to view the replays and carry on playing and stop moaning.

2) But then you could see other player's replays, wouldn't you?

I have this problem too. The host can see the replay but the clients cannot. Reported to Aaron by me long ago.
