First off i would like to say a gracious HULLO to all on the site. I have been reading some posts and everyone seems very helpful and friendly. I just started playing SEV and i have to say i love it and can't get enough of it, but my wife has other feelings about it. The question i have is where to install the patch files. I am not exactly a computer savy dude and although i have done it before on other games, i don't know where to put the patches. Can some one please walk me through this? It would be greatly appreciated.

My wife already thinks I don't spend enough time with her and our seven kids. I would think that with seven kids it would be obvious I spend too much time with her. That, and I find it difficult to divide my time amongst seven of anything (its kind of like playing seven games at once).

Nahh. I like micro-managing too much.

The patch files should come in .exe format. Just run them and point it to you space empires install directory (usually selected by default so you don't need to do anything)
