Hmm, have you considered that Aaron is just taking an extensive vacation?
I mean after the game came out he apeared to constantly working on the game, thus the frequent patches
I am pretty sure he didnt have much free time last year, so my guess is now that the major bugs are resolved he just took some (well deserved) time off to then get back patching the game with new energy and ideas

honestly i dont think we will se an add on in the near future, not with the main game still being somewhat buggy and many mod commands still to be implemented properly

and also
at this point imho there wouldnt be pretty much 'content' or 'need' for a add on...
at least i cant really imagine anything worth adding that required an addon at this time

but we will see, Aaron pretty much spoiled us with patches after the game came out, so we just need to be a bit patient i am 100% sure the next patch will arrive before may
and that would be fine (at least with me)

what about the multi payer system and the fact that it doesnt really work! (lan game)....and what gets me is why isnt that like something ppl rant over? games are fun, but as a rule of thumb, playing a game with real people in the same room is even better. To me this is really a show stopper the game shouldnt have been released until major bugs like that are worked out, thats just lazy/slopy/unprofessional when you release a game where a major element does not work

(unless it has been fixed but last time I tried it, with out manual file moving it doesnt work)

Give him a break, there are a number of major elements with problems.
