Hi,
I'm about to join my first multiplayer game. YAAAY!
So, when the game description shows, say, v1.66 with Balance Mod 1.11...
Does that mean I have to roll back my Balance Mod down from 1.12, and roll back SEV from 1.68 in order to play???

No, no there isn't 
I was just asking for the sake of if there was a later patch available but PBW game not using the latest... what happens then?
I have noticed some games use older BM patches.

Rollback the BM patch is easier, I would just put them next to each other in the GameTypes Folder and include a version number in the description text
for the game version you will have to do the rollback .. I think

You have to use the same game and mod version as the PBW game.

i just checked malfadors page .. theres still only 1.66 available
