Space Empires V Multiplayer
Does anybody know of any role playing multiplayer games happening right now or starting soonish? I have never played space empires multiplayer except against my brother on the same computer back with space empires 2. I've been playing space empires since the second one but I don't think i'm very good and I think I would prefer a game were I would be able to work on a team with other people. I thought maybe a game like one I remember where there were two or three people playing space monsters and 5 or 6 playing an alliance of races against the space monsters. Anyway does anybody know of any games similar to this that a beginner at multiplayer might be able to join?

Well, if you haven't already, check out www.spaceempires.net and look at the bottom of the forums list at that Play By Committee game. Apparently, they all play the same Empire (I think its an alliance or whatever, something) against some really tough AI's, some are only Planetary Managers and some are in the Space Navy to protect said worlds and some are mercs, some are just manufacturing ships for various ppl, like that.
I think they are using SE:IV though, not entirely sure on that.
