I'm working on a couple modifications right now, and I've run into a slight snag. I need to create some new pictures for various images in the game. Does anyone know if there's some free program I can use to create the images? If not, does anyone want to take requests for the most basic picture in the world?

A more light-weight option is Paint.NET. Its not as full-featured as Photoshop or The GIMP, but its not meant to be.
