SE4 Delux v1.95 vs. SE5 v1.63

SE5 1.63 with Kwok's Balance Mod is a very nice experience indeed. the game is maturing just nicely.
Unfortunately I have no experience of SE4 to compare it to.

I agree. SE4 is the older game, followed by SE5. I think most of the "bugs" are ironed out, and balance mod is a very nice alternative to the stock game.

I can play a whole SE5 v1.63 w/Balance Mod game... but my last attempts at SE4 didn't hold my attention.

However, a multiplayer game of either is probably preferable to a single player game of the other.

There are great mods for SE 4 (e.g. Star Trek, Adamant, etc.). SE 4 is still a great game, worth last but not least because many things are balanced out in vanilla and in the mods. You get it now for an apple and an egg, - but play it with mods, that is what this kind of games are made for.

I have played both and I did a little modding with both. SE4's VehicleSize.txt is easier to mod than SE5. with SE5 you have to change more than one txt file. I wish SE5 was more like SE4 when it come to modding Vehicle size and types, where you could do it with just one file.
