1.58 + BM 1.11 Fighter won't attack |

My fighter design has only one small APB and no other weaponry, so it should not require any ordnance. No matter what I try to set as a strategy, it still won't attack enemy fighters and try to retreat instead. Looks like a bug to me.

As mentioned elsewhere, it's because I accidentally removed troops and fighters from the Small APBs target types. You can fix by editing the Small APB entry in Components.txt, adding back troops and fighters to the weapon target list.

Yay, now I no longer have to use my fighters as blunt instruments against other fighters. Ramming was about the only option I had left

Can you select the fighter and force an engagement?
Sounds like a strategy text data file problem, I had this when I added units. Same scenario, fighters wouldn't engage each other unless I selected and forced engagement. Fixed it by adding every possible unit type to each strategy type.
Or it could be a component problem where that component doesn't register as a lethal enough system to engage, so the fighter flees? I mod more than I play so not too sure on the game play stuff.
