Not centering on ship. |

When you double-click a ship in the ship list and go to it, display is not centered on ship, you have to scroll around to find it (way annoying)
Also, when the display is showing your ship movement for the turn processing, display again should center on each ship as it moves, it does not.

Although I am not experiencing any missile issues you shouldn't need Ordinance Supply for at least 5 shots.
I guess the question to ask Antarian, is: Are you getting at least 5 shots and then no missile fire or are you getting no missile fire, period?

Hmm good point, they do come with a little ordinance don't they. But if that isn't working the add it to the list of demo bugs. I still think the demo was created a few months back, say at a guess probably June time (wonders if any devs read these posts)

Missiles Working
Malfador is only one guy, and he probably does have much time to do forum browsing. However I tend to browse all the major SE forums and often relay items that haven't been encountered otherwise to MM.
The Demo is more recent than June. But there missiles do fire correctly so outside of ordnance I can't realyl see a problem. I think the default ordnance storage is 50 per CSM, and it uses 5 IIRC. So you have about 10 shots. I recommend you add at least 1 ordnance storage if you're going to use missiles.

If you're referring to Aaron...he's pretty cool. Down to earth, he's answered a couple of my emails and was really helpful. If's he's done this solo, my hats off to him big time!
Back on topic. I've not had problems with missiles since I now religiously add at least 1 ordinance storage to all my fighting craft. So that's the advise i give to anyone planning to rule the universe.

I once designed a ship with no ordinance storage. I immediately regretted it.
Don't give in to the temptation to add one last gun! You won't be able to fire it more than a few times! A frigate with four guns is pretty redundant anyway.

That's why God invented the combat simulator...which I never touched in SEIV but can't get enough of in SEV.

Problem is, in the combat
Problem is, in the combat simulator, the ships did fine. 80 ordinance was plenty... for a single battle. In multiple battles, or against a tougher target, the ships were virtually useless. Except as cannon fodder, they were very useful as cannon fodder.

Drop one of your armor panels and get an ordinance storage fitted...these 5kt babies store 250 ordinance at lvl 1...you can't go wrong with one of these.

Missiles?
My missile frigate failed to launch any missiles during combat. Do you have to order it to launch missiles?
