All Your Buttons Are Belonging to Us |
Installed the game last night. Unfortunately I cannot play.
Whenever I click on the buttons on the main screen it doesn't just CTD it actually reboots my machine. I have an Alienware way over speced for this game. I do not have this problem with any other application. Anyone elase run into this and figure out what was causing it???

I have an AMD Dual Core and the Demo runs with no issues. Hopefully an answer can be found for this player.

Safe Mode? One core?
Try turning on safe video memory, or if that doesn't work, force SEV to run using one core (if you have more than one core). I think you do that by ctrl-alt-deleting and right clicking on SEV in the list. Not sure though, I'm stuck with one core

Re: All Your Buttons Are Belonging to Us
I have a Core2 Duo E6600, and it ran straight away without any issues, I dont have SLI though, so that may be the reason.

Re: All Your Buttons Are Belonging to Us
I have Intel Dual core, SLI nVidia, and I play at 2048 x 1536 x 32. Hardware acceleration is maxed. Graphic and background detail is high. Memory is auto. 3D is Direct 3d T&L HAL.
I seem to recall a rare click and crash but cannot attribute this to SEV as it can occur in any game. Check your game settings and I'm sure you have already updated your video drivers. Maybe even be certain your OS is up to date and it might even help to kill a few background processes. I'm sorry, I really don't know specifics. I'm just throwing out ideas...
