Space Empires V General
Hello all
I had this problem once before I believe during the 1.33 upgrade. I am currently running at 1.58.
The problem arose both times when I'm weeks into the game. when checking the News log after a turn and scrolling through all the events I tried to click on one I needed to deal with, I get the noise of the click through, however nothing happens. And that is now with any of the events. I also tried using the "goto" button, but it is frozen as well.
Any ideas?

The games run on borrowed time as the resource requirements increase. I can't remember the last game I played (and didn't yet complete) that didn't choke well before turn 400.

Well I tried this game again with patch 1.66. I guess after about 400 turns it locks up again on this screen. It makes the clicking sound, when selecting the item you want to "goto" but the last noise doesn't happen nor does it click through.
Kinda tough to play all this way and then crap out.
