Imported Shipsets with BM 1.10 |
Does anybody know if the imported shipset/empires problem will be in the new Balance Mod? Or is that just a stock game thing?

Kwok, does your mod 1.10 have updated AI scripts for the stock races that work with the 1.58 patch? I understand they made some changes that break old scripts.
I want to build generic AI scripts for all the major technology types, ie, Organic Aggressive, Crystal Defensive, ect... but need to know before I start playing with your scripts that they will run under 1.58
All that is done before the naked stars is remembered

Yes, the AIs are updated for v1.10. However, I won't be posting scripts until the v1.11 update is posted in a few days.

Great, thanks. So it's the scripts that have changed. Can someone please tell mr. Hall to build his updates in future so that they will only add to the scripts that people have customized, not BREAK them?

MM does a pretty good job keeping the scripts valid with patches. The problem this time was that a few of the script functions had to have their parameters adjusted in order to differentiate between individual empires and alliances.
