I made a custom speechfile for the neutral races a while ago, but never got to upload it.
The problem is that in order for the neutral races to use this, you'd have to recompile their AI. Most people however use mods to play seV, which would mean that the speechfile still wouldn't be compatible with their games.
So I'm just going to upload it here as a modders resource:
feel free to incorporate this in whatever mod your building and have fun

Speaking of speech files. Does anyone have the speechfiles for the German and French versions of the game? The patch for the european version won't even load on my version, so I can't extract them from there, nor does there seem to be a demo for the european version.
I would love to see some of the aliens in my (personal) games speak German or French. It would add some more flavour to the game. There's no good reason as to why all aliens would speak English anyhow
