Frustration |

I just called every EB and GameStop within a 25 mile radius and not one of them even has SEV on order. They show it as being released but not on any of their packing orders. I live in Orlando so its not like I'm out in the boondocks. VERY FRUSTRATING!

That's the same response I
That's the same response I got from two local Gamestop stores. They didn't get any preorders, so they aren't going to stock it on the shelves. I ordered it from EBGames' website on the 6th, and finally got an email saying it had shipped last night.

Not an "A-List" Game
Most EB/GameStops aren't going to keep copies on hand, which is sad considering the lack of a current decent game in this category. Many times I've walked into an EB just looking for something worth playing. Anyhow, every EB I've been to in my area has only a small shelf for PC games, so it would be impractical to stock every published game. I fully expected to have to order this game.
If you agree with me that this game should have been stocked, you really ought to get your friends interested in it, and ask them to check with their retailers and order it through them.
... LOL, I just received my copy of SE:V as I was typing this, so I think I'll go instal it now.. Cheers!
Problem is money
The problem is they probably wouldn't sell enough to justify purchasing any. While there are a lot of us who like the game there doesn't seem to be a general area of the world where large ammounts of us live.
The best bet is ordering, granted it's a bit pricer due to shipping but it gets the job done. Otherwise try and find a smaller, independant store and ask them if they can order a copy for ya. Most will and if you know some people who will buy a few tell them to order a couple cause ya can sell them for them. Or just continue to complain about large corperations being more concerned with their profits than your feelings.
Sadly EB /Gamestop has
Sadly EB /Gamestop has reduced pc inventory in favor of console games in the last few years.
honestly
I liked EB and Gamestop back when they were seperate companies cause then you could occasionally find one of them had a game for cheaper than the other.
The Problem
The problem with Pre-Order is that now that the game is released (at EB/Gamestop) they said that pre-order is no longer available. They also claim that there is no way for stores to order individual titles once it's off pre-order.
I know everybody hates Steam, but they have it for $5.00 off.
I ordered my copy online from EB. Wife called 1/2 hour ago and said it was delivered. Hope she doesn't throw it away before I get home (not a big game fan).

EB games shippped my copy to

I think you have to preorder
I think you have to preorder if you want them to actually get it for you
