BUG: Slow down on Ship Report |
I don't know if anyone else has this problem but it is VERY annoying. When I look at a built ship report(right click) And look at the component layout the game comes to a CRAWL!! I mean even tring to move the mouse around is slow and jerky. All other parts of the game seem to run fine so far. I can view the ship and component layout for the ships in design with no problems it's just when i look up on built ships that it slows down and only on components the other tabs of ship report are fine. I will point out this is the DEMO ver incase this is a know bug and was already sqwished b4 release.

I have this problem as well... but in version 1.08...
In another post it was mentioned that it could be an optimization issue due to all the data being loaded...
AA at fault?
Are you forcing AA through the use of your video card's tools by any chance? I heard some people suffered the same symptoms and that was the cause in their case.

Huh, maybe thats why my x1800 has been chugging sometimes on system view -- I had it set up to force AA for when I play oblivion (because Oblivion won't let you have AA and HDR on at the same time in its options).

I have the exact same problem, with the addition that with higher tech components, the icons aren't even correct. All my weapons look like engines and/or crew quarters.
