Wierd problem, AI fleet stuck in sector with warp point

I had 2 ships guarding a warp point and tried to use the sector view option to reposition my ships and I found a fleet of 9 ships there. They were not visible in system view. I have no idea how long they had been there. The only way i could "fix" it was to remove the warp point. Then they were freed up and I could attack them, having brought in some more ships to beef up my fleet there.

Just curious if anybody else had seen this.

I think the same thing you are describing has happened to me. There was a thread a while back that discussed warp points that conceal fleets, they tend to be green or yellow. If you read the details of the warp point, using the notes page that will show the attributes of the point it will list if it is messing with sensors. IIRC, using the sector view you could see the ships, but you could still not target them and initiate a battle. I ended up putting ships in every sector around the warp point and waiting them out.
