Space Empires V General
Greetings, I'm playing the demo, it's a nice change from X3 - bit more relaxing. I'll have a full copy from Amazon in the next day or two but in the meantime I've run through the tutorial twice and have a little problem. I've got an explorer in Jokala (?) that is running out of supplies, I can't see how to tell it to cancel its current orders (survey system) - will it just self-destruct or return home - not sure how this re-supply thing is supposed to work.
Pls bear in mind I'm completely new to this game and the tooltips don't work in the demo and there is no manual. I'm having a look through the forums now...
Any help appreciated....

The shotcut key to cancel orders is backspace. Select the ship and press the backspace key. Now you should be able to give the ship new orders.
Note that the backspace key also works while a ship is moving (provided that you're fast enough).
