File not found error v. 1.44 Balance Mod 1.08

Thanks Evilg, I will await CQ's return (bless that man) and hope that 1.09 does the trick. As I said, there was no crash, but I did wonder if things that were supposed to happen (like battles?) were not for some reason. New to the game.

I dont have any modded ship sets, unless BM comes with some. What would the game do with the drones constructed though, if it did not have an image for it? This is why I'm pensive, I'm worried that some AI empire is interacting with me, but the missing files are preventing it from working properly. As i mentioned, i have diplomatic relations with an empire that I've never seena planet or a ship from....

Well, at least now I know to look for blank spots. I have done nothing manually. I just installed SEV, brought it up to 1.44, and istalled BM 1.08. If there was anything else, like a hotfix, I would have done that too, but i dont recall anything. I must have the balance mod in the right directory, because it lists itlself in the "game types" area during the game selection in the main menu. I cant recall if a version number is provided.

I do appreciate the attempt. Hopefully CQ will strighten things up soon. I played again last night and one AI empire seems to be functioning normally, i can see his ships and planets, ect. So it may be that the error really isnt doing anything.
