Music Volume |
While I can set the volumes as I want IN the game, is there anyway to get the settings to apply during the game startup and setup portions?
The Music is quite loud at its default settings and with any late-night starts becomes very disruptive. Once the game actually starts and the ingame settings apply there is no problem at all. Sure I can use the systems volume controls, but that can be annoying and should be un-needed.

I agree with CyclopsSlayer, the option for the music-volume really should be in the startup-menu, as it is with every single other game out there (slight exaggeration for clarification 
)

I avoid the late night noise issues by using headphones. Most sound cards have a headphone jack, or if not, the front of your speaker may have one too. If headphones are plugged in the speakers should not operate.

The intro music is so annoying that I prefer to deactivate it.
To do that, replace in your SEV\Data\Settings.txt:
