Space Empires crash when i start it, with this Error Message:
Exeption EInOutError in module se5.exe at 00396715.
Invalid filename.
My systhem:
Prozessor: 1500 MHZ
510 MB Ram ( HD )
Direct X 9.0c
enough Free Space
its a Laptop ^^
Can you help me?

I am not sure if the german relese version is not 1.35 if it is not Its 1.33 no older
I would patch it to 1.44 if the German version of the pach is out yet. If you have used the english language 1.44 patch and its patched it it might be the cause of the problem. However most peple couldent apply the english patch to the french and german versions at all

Empire Interactive has not yet released any localized patches for 1.44.

Only thing I would sugest is to mail this issue to MM as he may have a fix pending the arival of the german patch

I've patched up to 1.44 and still get a crash setting up a game if my cursor strays !!!

Did you upgrade to 1.35?
