Possible dumb question but ....Icons_PlanetStatus.bmp.. what do they indicate ?

This is maybe a dumb question and I am pretty sure I have read some months ago
somewhere what exactly they do indicate but cannot find it anymore. (And I am also only now able to afford the time to really play, to much work before)

And the manual unfortunately does not explain them in the icons section.

Can somebody please explain what these Status Icons above the planets indicate.
BTW, what do the numbers indicate in the staus.
I figured out that the blue bar on the right indicates population.
