Firing Points? |

Is there a way to check any modifications made to firing points from the [empire name]_Ships_XFileClasses.txt file without starting up SEV, setting up a new game (for which I have settings saved), `alltech-ing to get the ship size and weapons to test with, and doing a space simulation? Maybe a graphics utility that'd give me a representation of the coordinates in relation to the ship?
EDIT: Nevermind first question, found TakAhLa's guide in the blog section. My engine glows, however, disappear whenever they overlap with the ship, which diminishes their usefulness as a means of pinpointing my firing points, and editing just the "Firing Point 1 X,Y,Z" fields doesn't seem to move them, just the Glow Offset modifiers. Are these problems related?
