A PBW Game to be Started Soon 4+ players

Whats the name of the game? and could you give a bit more info aobut it number of starting planets, tech points and cost, racial points map size and type etc...thxs

OK I'd recommend the paradise map as it tends to reduce the chances of a bad starting position...medium size depending on the number of players and that the game admin...sets the start positions.

Also could we set the turn duration to say 36 hours to allow for time differences...(Does this all sound similar to another game?...you see I've learnt from the experts )

Oh and could we have some very clear rules to what will happen if a player goes missing!

I'd be interested in starting another match while I'm waiting for my next KOTH game, I'll join. The game settings mentioned sound good to me.

Well, if it's going to start tomorrow, I can't be sure I'll follow this "Short breaks allowed (though please let us know) and only once we are passed turn 20." Kinda figured it'd go off with just enough players =p. I have the spare time now to do it(A couple of hours), tomorrow is another day, with the possibility to be called in to work to do a 12/h workshift.

I hope you running 2 games won't make you stop writing articles for our game TakAhLah. Especially after the ultimatum you set for my harmless civilization

Question are we only using in game messages two each other?
Or are we allowed to use e-mail as well?
I would prefer just in game as its more fun/realistic.

EDIT: scratch that. You've added starting research points, so now I'll have to rethink my empire...

I'm not sure using the in game messages is fun (it's certainly not realistic), seeing how slow and cumbersome it is. It could create some strange diplomatic mess though, and intel results could be interesting. If we use that I'd suggest to show all player's scores.

Those settings are OK, will get the game off to an interesting start. Given the new settings I've tweaked my empire and am ready to go.

What other game settings have you choosen, i.e. number of ships and units, ruins, events?

As you have allowed starting Rea search I have redone my empire.
I have left the game and rejoined so I can reload the empire file.
I am happy with the quicker start, also do not like to see others score but will go with the flow.

I agree with CaptainBrann about seeing all players scores, maybe better to go with just seeing allies scores.

Hi...due to my lack of time at the moment, my other game, writing stories, ship making and real life things...I'm afraid I won't be able to continue playing in this game.. So I need a replacement player to fill in for me. My Empire is doing well, it is number 1 out of the six players and has lots of room to expand. We are also battling another empire who turned out to be hostile...so the turns wont be dull.

I'm afraid so...between the couple of hours it is taking me to do the Nebula rising turns and other stuff, my two month old kid and wife, I am neglecting this game which is not me. Anyway I'm sure we'll play again...in KOTH if that gets going again.

Yeah, I prefer too to play less games, but better. I might drop from this game too by the way, depending on how fast my other games will be developping.
