I want to lock the verticle pan......

.....but leave the horizontal free moving. Any ideas? The game plays in too large a window so I have to move it to fit the screen and I lose the back peddle of the verticle pan so I have to keep using the down arrow to reposition and it is getting annoying. (don`t want to raise my resolution `cause I can`t see the small type as it is.
