New player for Nebula Rising game. |
Hi all.
I'm afraid one of our players has simply vanished and is not responding to mails. In the last mail I've sent them I've given them a time to appear or we will look for a replacement player. We are now looking...
The game is a 6 player PBW game in a meduim paradise quad map. Each Empire started with 3 home planets and 50,000 rp.
Tech is set at meduim cost. Racial points were set at 3000 if I remember correctly.
There are no ruins.
Only view your own score.
Apart from that there are no real rules...you are free to form alliances or wage war on whoever you like.
Victory conditions are last empire alive or peace through out the quad.
We are presently on turn 23...the missing player vanished more than a week ago, so they have missed turns...turn times are set at 36 hours.
I have no idea how their empire is doing, but we are looking for someone to fill in for them and to have some fun...for more info about how the game is going, please have a look at the following link.

Destoth has vanished without trace...around the time unnamed joined...he'd asked me to delay the turn a few days which I did, but he didn't really get into it after that, he missed some tunrs played one and then vanished again. He doesn't respond to mails & we have no info about whats happening... like if he's coming back etc or anything. If we knew he was coming back then there wouldn't be a problem waiting for him(as long as it wasn't months & months), but as we know nothing.
I did mail all of the nebula rising players twice to ask what should we do..as in wait for him or look for a new player etc...in the end we decided to give him till tomorrow(Monday 25th) to respond or appear...but I would start looking for a replacement player before to try to reduce anymore delays.

Destoth said one or two days...that was on Friday I think. I'll send him another mail now!

Well, if he doesn't show up, I would be really glad to help you to make some progress with this game! (unless Mr Freeze is talking about the same empire, in which case he would have the priority of course...)

Hey BlueTemplar...thxs for the interest... I'll just quickly explain what has happened.
Our friend destoth vanished and was not answering our mails so I set a dead line for him to answer or he would be replaced. Mr Freeze replied and in fact took over the empire for several turns, but destoth returned and explained what had happened....real life problems. So I left it up to Mr freeze and destoth to sort out who would go on playing. They did and they decided that destoth would continue with his empire...however destoth sill has not filled his slot in game which I though he would have done by now....so things are kind of up in the air atm.
If there are any new developements I'll keep you and mr freeze posted.

Just keeping you posted as I said I would... I've asked Mr freeze to join again...which he accepted as destoth still hasn't shown up. I'm sorry to all the other players for the constant changes, I simply wanted to be as fair to the missing player as possible, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Sorry destoth...I hope you get your things sorted out and will be back playing PBW games soon.

Welcome back Mr Freeze. Just in time. I was already starting utter severe threats to the AI empire as he was just about to violate my territory.
