I can get the shipsets to work on normal SEV, but with the irm mod theyre not selectable as a ship pic. Also it it possible to just choose a race raather than select each option for a race when starting a new game?

There's a setting in modinfo.txt that determines if the mod can use the default Empires, if it's set to false, then the mod needs it's own Empire folders etc.

You don't have to copy the whole shipset into the mod folder; just a blank folder with the same name will suffice.

doesnt matter sorted it, didnt relaise i had to copy shipsets into the mods empire folder.
