Treaty improperly applied

Description

From the forum and some other things I've seen, this may be happening on other issues. In the example I've attached, I have a treaty with one Empire which includes sharing of sensor views. I'm getting sensor views from other empires, even one I'm at war with.

I had an earlier treaty which did the same thing. As soon as it happened again, I saved the game.

The empire I have the treaty with seems to be a "spawned" empire, and wasn't one of the original group. I have a hunch that may have something to do with it.

In this case it isn't serious, but if there were a "no research" clause, and it was misapplied that could cause a lot of harm.

Maybe that's because that empire shares it's sensor views with other empires?

It wasn't just "bonus" information that would result from multiple sensor-sharing treaties. In fact, I recall canceling the treaty or amending that feature out; and I continued to share sensors with my enemy!

I'm not sure, but I don't think my partner had any treaties with this enemy.

Now the cause in the code could be some sort of confusion in cases like this, but there's no way the information the game displayed could be correct.

I have played games where information sharing would lead to the situations you're thinking about. There can be a lot of surprises, that's for sure!
