Robotech Shipset! (For Someone Else)

The most I ever did with 3D modeling was digging up all my old Lego creations from several very dusty boxes and drawing them up with MLCad and LDRAW to help relive my youth. Even then, you have predesigned pieces. Just pick and place. But I digress.

It's easy to ask for something that you can't do yourself, but perhaps I can start the wheels turning in the head of someone who has the know-how. Did the idea of a Robotech shipset pop up in anyone else's head? I figure there's enough to put together a full set of both human and Zentraedi models if you use material from more than just the Macross saga. The organic look on some of the ships wouldn't be an easy undertaking, but as I said, I'm just throwing it out there. I'm sure the unit models would be at the top of the list for experimentation with; I for one would love to witness a squadron of Veritechs clearing the way for a fleet or an Excalibur blasting away at a planet's militia.

Hoping to generate some interest. That's my big SE5 idea for today.
