Balance mod, Sats not working around warp points.? |
I have 10 Missle Sat's guarding the access warp point's going out of the solar system. (Problem is, Thier useless.) Enemy AI ships warp through the Warp points without the sat's ever detecting them.
Either there is a "new" undocumented "Detection" system to Sat's, or the Sat's are useless space junk.
Vrs 1.06, Newest patch SEV, beginner tech, All AI vrs human players, No AI bunus, Hard Diff.
Either way, The mod is great. (Note: I havn't had a chance to send a single ship as a extra "choke point" detection system. If the AI ships get pass this, then there is a "Big" detection Bug going on.)

Heh, ooops, do I hear a military advisor being shot in the background....
I just did the same thing myself leaving a warp point undefended, Damn your AI Kwok! It uses black hole systems to transit through still!

This reminds me of the time I parked a large fleet on a warp point in a storm system without adequate scanning. That ended poorly.

Is combat initiated? Do your Sats have ordnance and supplies? Can you check the description of the warp point to see if there is some sort of cloak effect etc.?
