Just need a few clarifications. |
There are a few details about game mechanics that I would really appreciate some help with:
1. Does the AI ever use Stellar Manipulation? I ask because I like to play no warp point games where expansion requires knowing how to open wormholes. (Sort of like how humanity may reach other systems.)
2. Sort of a followup, what sort of research priority does the AI place on gaining the ability to colonize the other 2 types of worlds or on changing the atmosphere?
3. Does a Time Shrine stack with a System Robotoid Factory or can a system be modified only once by a specific ability?
4. Is it possible to start a game with systems that have an empty Ringworld or Sphereworld? I tried giving a system with only a single star the Constructed Planet - Create ability but only the star was placed.
5. Is there a way to limit the number of a specific facility on a planet? I couldn't find a formula function like Get_Design_Ability_Component_Count for facilities.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Just need a few clarifications.
1 - The AI is currently not up to snuff, but constantly being improved. Balance Mod (BM), Inter-Related Mod (IRM), and I believe a new mod from Unnamed (Stock AI mod upgrade) all improve the AI. Currently, the bugs are being worked out of the system. Players in the fanbase are modifying the game for the benefit of all currently. Look around and experiment!
2 - This is largely in the same general mix of massively complex game mechanics the AI has to be programmed to understand and use. Try the mods!
3 - To my knowledge, the various facilities with similar, if not identical effects, DO stack with each unique type of facility. So yes, A Time Shrine should stake with a System Robotoid Factory.
4 - Ringworlds and Sphereworlds are empire generated only. The maps are not created with any, nor do I think this is an option.
I don't have modding experience for #5.
