System notes on top left corner |
Anyone else feel that the notes on the top left corner should be condensed somewhat? I mean past your first 5 monutes of the game, you'll know what a spaceport is. Could it not just say, "-Spaceport" instead of a long sentence? At a glance it might be easier to recognize what your system needs and what it doesn't.

It just lists all the ability descriptions of all system-wide abilities that you know about. So there's really no way to condense it, unless you want the ability description of the "Spaceport" facility to just say "Spaceport" 
Though when you said system notes I thought you were referring to the user-defined system notes that you can place on a system... What would REALLY be handy is if those notes were displayed somewhere without having to go to the system report! Either in the upper left corner with the others, or as a popup when you hover over the "Has System Notes" note in the upper right...

It does get annoying when it fills up the whole side of the screen. Always wondered what you asked but never really gave it a second thought. Might be something in one of the .txts in the data folder to show what it says. I'll look into it over the weekend, if anyone wants to beat me to it then please by all means do so!
